After some major upgrades, our beloved library is reopening its doors to all you dedicated readers out there!
The library has five sections: reception, book storage, a reading room with a computer section, an electronic library, and a conference hall.
Come and meet our specialists, Ibraimova A. D. and Tuyukbaeva B. T., whose expertise was instrumental in the relocation and design of our library. You'll find them ready to assist you at the new library on the 4th floor, room 412/1 (via the central entrance)

On January 25, 2024, the delegation of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Beishenaliev Alymkadyr Savirdinovich, visited the International Medical University and Eurasian International University
Additionally, Beishenaliev toured the Educational Resource Center (ERC) of EIU.
During the meeting, ERC staff demonstrated the automated operations of the Service and Information Department, which is based on the IRBIS 64+ Library System. They showcased the library's collection, reading rooms, and specialized spaces for co-working, meetings, and conferences. The Minister acknowledged the adequate material and technical infrastructure of the ERC, highlighting its potential for hosting collaborative conferences in the future.
Towards the end of the visit, Beishenaliev Alymkadyr Savirdinovich expressed his willingness to donate 1000 copies of the latest medical books to enhance the library fund.

The Educational Resource Center of EIU invites you to the daily interactive seminar "Introduction to e-resources in the integrated information and education platform www.lib.lms.kg."
You will learn to use the library's website and search for literature in the digital catalog. Also, you will learn about the e-resources of our generation and international resources, such as Research4Life and its program Hinari, EBSCOhost and its database Medline, and Oxford University Press.
The seminar is scheduled daily from September 15 to October 15, 2023, from 10:00 to 12:00.

On May 31, the ERC staff and the team of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic "Jany Kitep", led by Director Amatov Tologon Apazovich, had a meeting. During the meeting, they discussed the prospects for the development of digital technologies in the libraries of educational institutions, the architecture of ALIS and international formats for the presentation of bibliographic data. They discussed the development of digital knowledge, open resources, copyright issues and other innovative methods of modern library development. Tologon Apasovich demonstrated the project "Jany Kitep", and the ERC specialists highly appreciated the project and held consultations on library and bibliographic areas.
The guests were given a tour of the library departments and a workshop on the technologies of automated work in the IRBIS system and J Irbis 2.0.
In conclusion, both sides agreed to collaborate on the promotion of automation and digitalization of libraries in the Kyrgyz Republic and outlined project initiatives.
